Enjoy Sailing at Christies

Come along to Christies Sailing Club and find out how much fun sailing is!

We are a family friendly club with a thriving junior and adult membership, sailing a range of boats from small dinghies through to trailerable yachts. We run junior, teenager, and adult training courses and welcome everybody to our Discover Sailing Day. We are located on a beautiful stretch of coastline at Christies Beach Esplanade.

Refreshments and lunch will be available at the club along with volunteers who can answer any questions you may have.

Come along, young or old, and enjoy sailing with one of our experienced members or instructors.

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing
